Seylan Bank health camp at Devamulla

Seylan Bank PLC recently reached out to the impoverished villagers of Devamulla in Horana by conducting a health camp at the Devamulla Primary School.

Nearly 450 villagers from Devamulla and adjoining areas visited the camp and took part in the interactive educational sessions which covered general health and safety, followed by an eye clinic where spectacles were gifted after diagnosis by three optometrists. A dental clinic was held to detect early signals of cancer, gum diseases, tooth decay and related issues. An osteoporosis check was also carried out.

Seylan Bank will next venture into micro-finance avenues in the Devamulla Pilot Village to alleviate socio-economic conditions.
