Bus service from Dondra to Point Pedro

A bus service from Point Dondra to Point Pedro will be inaugurated today from the Point Pedro bus depot.

The service will be started under the Mahinda Chinthana to link North and South.

A Sri Lanka Transport Board spokesman said the new bus service will operate simultaneously from Point Pedro and Dondra Head early in the morning and reach their destination in the evening.

The Point Pedro bus depot has deployed two semi-luxury buses.

The bus fare for a journey is Rs. 855.

Two buses will operate from Point Dondra and Point Pedro at 4.15 am and 5.30 am and reach Point Pedro and Point Dondra at 9.30 pm and 10.45 pm.

The bus starts from Point Pedro and will pass through Vavuniya, Anuradhapura, Colombo, Kalutara, Ambalangoda, Galle and Matara.
