Cuba, a true friend of Lanka – Minister Weerawansa

Cuba always stood by Sri Lanka whenever the island faced a threat from imperialist Western powers, said Engineering Services, Construction, Housing and Common Amenities Minister Wimal Weerawansa.

The Minister told a Sri Lanka – Cuba Friendship Society Special meeting in Colombo that Cuba extended its solidarity to defeat anti-Sri Lanka moves at the Geneva Human Rights Council recently.
