Sports Stars Hansaine and Heshan felicitated

Sports Stars.... Hansaine Unamboowe of Mahamaya College, Kandy and
Heshan Unamboowe of Trinity College, Kandy were picked as the Best
Sportswoman and Best Sportsman of the year 2010 by the Education
Department Sports Council. The awards ceremony was held at the BMICH in
Colombo on July 25.
Both Hansaine and Heshan excelled in swimming and they represented
Sri Lanka at the Youth World Championship held in Singapore last year.
Hansaine was felicitated by the Principal, staff and students of
Mahamaya College on August 1 but Heshan Unamboowe of Trinity was away
from the island and the felicitation ceremony was postponed for next
term according to the POG of Trinity College - Daya Ehelamalpe.

Heshan Unamboowe of Trinity was first felicitated by Trinity
College when he represented Sri Lanka last year, but the
felicitation ceremony this year had to be put off as he is
out of the island.
