Awareness programs for Govt employees in North

The Public Administration and Home Affairs Ministry is conducting
programs in the North to make Government employees
aware of the rural development projects and district administrative
activities in the North, Ministry sources said.
Accordingly, 145 top ranked administrative officers, during their
recent visit to the North, held discussions with the Government officers
in this regard. The team which visited various parts of the North also
talked with the public to gather their experiences.
Meanwhile, the Government is in the process of setting up "Seva
Piyasa" service homes in the North to expedite public services. As an
initiative, the Government set up a "Seva Piyasa" service home in Jaffna
recently. They aim to provide various services to the public under one
roof, the sources said.
"Seva Piyasa" service homes comprise all administrative sections
under one roof, they said.
