Swadeshi Khomba illuminates Sri Vishnu Maha Devalaya

Devundara Uthpalawanna Sri Vishnu Maha Devalaya is being illuminated by Swadeshi Industrial Works PLC, the pioneer herbal - personal care products manufacturer. The illumination is done under the theme of ‘Swadeshi Khomba Aloka Puja Sathkaraya’.

The Pooja was held on August 13. As a part of its annual CSR program, Swadeshi supports Aloka Poojas of all temples that honour the four guardian Gods of Sri Lanka, Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya - God Vibishana, Ruhunu Kataragama Maha Devalaya - God Kataragama, Saman Devalaya Ratnapura - God Saman and Devundara Uthpalawanna Sri Vishnu Maha Devalaya - God Uthpalawanna Sri Vishnu. The company also supports the annual Aloka Poojawa of the Dambadeniya Raja Maha Viharaya encouraging traditional and religious practice.
