Appointed national director

Prasanna Pathmanathan, an Alumni of Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT) is a PR specialist, lecturer, supervisor, research scholar, trainer, entertainer, journalist has a very steady presence in the Sri Lankan Fashion Industry.

Pathmanathan who is 25 years, is a graduate of IIT's BSc in Information Systems with Business Management (first class) from the University of Westminster UK and was the winner of a gold medal. He now lectures and guides students through their final year research projects as a project supervisor as well.

He is a Chartered Marketer and is reading for a degree in Psychology and mastering in Organisational Psychology as well.

His first venture into the business world was in the fashion industry as a writer. In 2009, as the youngest editor in chief of the publication, Agora - South Asia's first online magazine.

What started as a hobby turned him towards fashion and journalism. He was invited as a member of the panel of judges this year to officiate at Mr. Earth 2011 contest this October in Central America.

He has been appointed as the National Director of Sri Lanka for Mr. Earth 2011 to nominate Mr. Sri Lanka for Mr. Earth 2011.

He is currently working as the Head of Public Relations at Cameron Pale and Medina (Pvt) Ltd, an all inclusive Communication Agency.

Pathmanathan is also in the process of writing research papers with his students to present at International business research conferences.
