Rajiv Gandhi assassination case:

‘Law should be allowed to take its course’

Tamil Nadu Congress Committee President K.V. Thangkabalu said yesterday that the law should be allowed to take its own course on the issue of hanging the three convicted in the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. He was alluding to demands made by certain politicians and pro-LTTE groups to stop the executions.

He told reporters, that the Congress activists were suffering without Rajiv Gandhi for the past two decades.
