Quality Fruits (Pvt) Ltd, a company importing and distributing fruits, won three awards. given by SGS, an inspection, verification, testing and certification Company. The awards are the ISO 9001:2008 quality certification, the ISO 22000:2008 food safety management system certification, and the HACCP - Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point.

Incorporated in July 2003, Quality Fruits (Pvt) Ltd imports fruits from all permitted countries and distributes to a wide clientele including supermarkets, wholesale dealers, caterers, juice outlets, hotels and restaurants in the country. The company maintains a proper cold chain management with a state-of the-art cool room facility, ensuring maximum quality standards. Freezer trucks are utilised for distribution.

Pioneered by two professionals, the company operates from Mudungoda, Gampaha. The fruits that are imported include apples, grapes, oranges, grape fruit and nectarine. Starting with just a few people, today the company employs over 50 to handle numerous operations.
