Kandy Youth CC in commanding position

Kandy Youth Cricket Club obtained a first innings lead on the first day in their Division I Sarawanamuttu Trophy cricket tournament match agaisnt the Customs SC at Pallekele Prison Grounds yesterday.

Customs SC - 1st innings: 150 all out in 37.5 overs (Dinuk Warapitiya 62, C. Abeykoon 5 for 45, A. Nidarshana 2 for 40).

Kandy Youth CC - 1st innings: 167 for 3 wickets in 41.1 overs (Muditha Wijekoon 42, Sankalpa Gunasekara not out 53, N. Perera not out 46).
