CRICKET: Rain prevented an interesting finish to the P. L. Arthur Alwis Memorial Trophy cricket match between Old Kingswoodians and Old Rajans played last weekend at Lake View, Kandy.

Before the commencement of the match two minutes silence was observed in respect of Late General Anuruddha Ratwatte.

Old Kingswoodians were out for 132 runs and Old Rajans were 24 for the loss of one wicket when rain put an end to the proceedings and the match ended in a 'no-decision'.
