Public Service Club, Kandy awards night

PUBLIC SERVICE SPORTS CLUB... The Public Service Sports Club, Kandy
had its club night on December 30 in Kandy.
Former Asst. Supdt. of Police D. B. Ekanayake won both the Billiards
and Snooker titles.
Sports Officer Tharanga Welagedara partnered by T. M. K. Wijesinghe
won the Carrom doubles while S. Senaratne won Carrom singles title.
Outdoor events such as Cricket and Walking Races - the winners were also
received their awards.
Those games were held in October last year.
Billiards champion: D. B. Ekanayake, runner-up: T. M. K. Wijesinghe.
Snooker Champion: D. B. Ekanayake, runner-up: H. Wilson.
Snooker (Novices) champion: B. T. Weerasinghe, runner-up: G. B.
Kulatunge.
Carrom (singles) champion: S. Senaratne, runner-up: T. M. K. Jayasinghe
Carrom (doubles) champions: Tharanga Welagedara and T. M. K.
Wijesinghe, runners-up: Jagath Welgalla and D. B. Weerasekera.
