Gateway wins Under 19 Netball Championship

NETBALL: Gateway College, Colombo were worthy winners of the Inter-International School Under 19 Girls Netball Championship that was organized by Ilma International School and was played at the St. Joseph’s College courts.

At the final, Gateway beat Ilma International School 11-6. In the group matches, Gateway beat Colombo International School 6-3, Lyceum International Nugegoda 9-7, Royal Institute 13-2 and Leighton Park International 15-1. In the semi-final, Gateway beat OKI Wattala 14-5. Gateway’s Prisca Ratnasingham was named the Netball Queen of the tournament and Sandali Weerasinghe received the award for being the Best Shooter.
