SLC conducted Premier League:

Ragama Cricket Club set for outright win

Ragama CC is well set for an easy outright win in their SLC conducted Premier League Tier A three-day match continued at Colts grounds yesterday.

Ragama CC, who were strongly placed at 104 for one at close in their second innings, needs only a further 85 runs for an outright win when the final day’s play starts at 10 am today.

Lankan CC: 118 all out and 211 all out (Dinuka Pathirana 55, Damitha Hunukumbura 38, Madura Lakmal 5 for 77).

Ragama CC: 141v all out and 104 for one at close (Udara Jayasundara 59 n.o, Rumesh Buddika 33 n.o).


Abeyratne’s ton helps BRC

BRC, in reply to Panadura SC’s first innings total of 257 all out, made 336 for 7 at close on day two of their SLC conducted Premier League Tier B three-day match continued at Havelock Park yesterday.

It was No. 6 bat Thamara Abeyratne who enabled BRC to take first innings lead with an unbeaten century with three sixers and 11 fours.

The match will be continued at 10 am today.

Panadura SC: 257 all out (Chamara Soysa 47, Safraz Ffarook 3 for 45).

BRC: 336 for 7 at close (Thamara Abeyratne 106 n.o, Safraz Farook 71 n.o, Tharanga Priyadharshana Fernando 5 for 89).


Army in close first innings win

Sri Lanka Army SC took a close first innings lead over Kurunegala YCC in their SLC conducted Premier League Tier B three-day match continued at Welagedara Stadium, Kurunegala yesterday. The match will be continued at 10 am today.

Kurunegala YCC: 301 all out (Gayan Maneshan 91, Daminda Ranawaka 50, Seekkuge Prasanna 6 for 84) and 12 for 1 at close.

Sri Lanka Army SC: 332 all out (Rishan Kavinga 89, Chaminda Prasad 51, Dilan Soysa 53, Seekkuge Prasanna 55, Narada Ratnayake 5 for 48).


Police SC on first innings

Police SC gained first innings lead over SLPA in their SLC conducted Premier League Tier B three-day match continued at Police Park yesterday. The match will be continued at 10 am today.

SL Ports Authority: 137 all out (Matheesha Perera 5 for 37) and 214 for 7 at close. (Dinusha Fernando 62, Tharindu Mendis 54, Ruuwantha Kallepotha 3 for 43).

Police SC: 168 all out (Matheesha Perera 48, Ravin Nirmal 43, Romesh Eranga 3 for 38, Chanaka Komasoru 3 for 59).


Easy for Saracens

Saracens SC gained an easy first innings lead over SL Air Force SC in their SLC conducted Premier League Tier B three-day match continued at Rifle Green yesterday. The match will be continued at 10 am today.

SL Air Force: 191 all out and 135 for 9 at close (Angelo Emmanuel 32, Amila Mendis 7 for 35).

Saracens: 278 all out (Gamindu Kanishka 62, Mohomed Aslam 60, Akila Isanka 4 for 80).


Sailors humble CCC

Sri Lanka Navy SC took a good first innings win over much fancied CCC in their SLC conducted Premier League Tier B three-day match continued at Welisara yesterday.

The match will be continued at 10 am today.

Navy SC: 268 all out (Ranil Rasanga 93, Chanaka Ruwansiri 71, Rasika Priyadharshana 4 for 19) and 150 for 8 at close (Danushka Gurusinghe 41, Ranil Dhammika 4 for 32, Nuwan Perera 3 for 17).

CCC: 201 all out (Dilhan Cooray 42, Nuwan Perera 32, Dulanjana Mendis 4 for 36, Madawa Perera 3 for 44).
