Bharti Airtel ties up with Manchester United

Bharti Airtel Lanka (PVT) Ltd, a globally recognised telecommunication company tied up with the Manchester United Club (MU) in the UK to provide benefits to the soccer loving Airtel customers in Sri Lanka.

Director, Global Brand, Bharti Airtel, Bharat Bambawale told a press briefing in Colombo. Manchester United legends Bryan Robinson and Dwight Yorke and President, FIFA Manilal Fernando were also present. Director, Bambawale said that Manchester United is a powerful global brand and said his club was happy to be associated with football loving customers in Sri Lanka.

"Football is seeing an increasing interest among the youth across Asia and the same fervor and excitement towards this contemporary sport can be seen in Sri Lanka as well".
