Christ King, Pannipitiya Under-13 Group Champios

Christ King College, Pannipitiya came out on top when they ended up as group champions of the Under-13 Division III Cricket Tournament conducted by the Schools Cricket Association. Christ King College team played in Segment 'M' of the Under-13 Division III won three matches they played and drew one match.

Under captain Sahan Perera Christ King College beat Sri Rahula College, Angoda outright and beat Tikiri Kumara College, Ambatale, and Ananda College, Kottawa on 1st innings. The match between Christ King and Bomiriya Central College teams ended in no decision.

With captain Sahan Perera, Sahan Chaturanga, Chanaka Sebastian, C. Issac, Dakshitha Harischandra and Dinuka Sajith played well. The team is coached by Jayantha Weerasinghe.

Christ King College has qualified now to play in the second round of the Under-13 Division III Tournament.
