elected for the 8th consecutive year as the president of the
Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation at their annual general
meeting held at the Olympic House recently presents a
memento to former parliamentarian and Finance Minister
Ronnie de Mel. He was felicitated for his excellent service
rendered to the SLVF during his tenure as the president of
the SLVF from 1987 to 1989 which he was instrumental in
housing the SLVF and introducing a volleyball training
centre.
