Thai company seeks projects in Sri Lanka

Listed Thai development company Supalai Plc is looking at diversifying overseas including in Sri Lanka to create new projects.

As Bangkok as well as the country's main provincial cities and destinations continue to be saturated with new properties the company is considering a broader horizon.Comments in the media lately indicate the firm considering Indonesia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and the Philippines among others as investment destinations.

It may look towards joint ventures to spur growth and enter new markets.In the run-up to 2015, expectations are that more Thai companies may start to look further than Thailand to stimulate sustainable growth.
