Education programs in North

Governor Northern Province G.A. Chandrasiri has paid special attention to the education sector of the North. Accordingly, several programs will be implemented in these areas and seminars and classes for the GCE (Advanced Level) students in Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu districts commenced at Kilinochchi Central College.Governor Chandrasiri was the chief guest at the inauguration ceremony of the seminar recently.

The Education Ministry has planned to conduct a series of additional classes for Advanced Level students to obtain best results at exams with leading teachers in each subject from Jaffna and other areas.During the ceremony S. Achuthan of Kn/Central College who obtained the best results at the last GCE (A/L) examination from the Kilinochchi District was felicitated with awards.
