Lifebuoy promotes health and hygiene

Unilever with its flagship germ-fighter brand Lifebuoy is conducting activation camps in Kandy, Kurunegala and Tissamaharama, giving those living in the area an opportunity of being themselves informed about germs and germ protection. The campaign will be launched with the camp at Sri Rahula College premises in Kandy on May 20.

Many activities are planned for the day to educate the public including children and parents about germs in a more interactive and interesting way using games, stage shows and educational programs. Those who win will receive gifts too.

Senior Brand Manager, Lifebuoy. Saumya Perera said, "Germs are around us all the time. Washing hands without soap will not help in getting rid of germs. Lifebuoy protects you from germs causing 10 common diseases. Children are especially prone to germinal attacks since they are more active in outdoor activities".
