The Attorney General, Shanthi Eva Wanasundera PC took oaths as a
Supreme Court Judge before President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Temple
Trees yesterday afternoon.
Justice Wanasundera was the first woman Attorney General of Sri
Lanka.
Justice Eva Wanasundera was born in Kurunegala where her father
Hector Jayasekera was a well-known teacher in the area.
A masters degree holder of Law of the University of Leicecester,
United Kingdom,Justice Wanasundera mastered Trade Law for her LLM
Degree.
