Vidulka 2012 from Aug 17 at BMICH
Sri Lanka Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA), under the patronage of
the Ministry of Power and Energy will hold Vidulka 2012 for the third
consecutive year, at the BMICH from August 17 to 19. Vidulka has been
heightened by the fact that the year 2012 being declared as the 'Year
for Sustainable Energy for All' by the United Nations.
Vidulka 2012 will showcase Sri Lanka's energy related products and
services. A unique combination of Sri Lanka National Energy Efficiency
Awards, Energy Symposium and Energy Exhibition and other corporate
events are also planned under the theme 'Today for Tomorrow' adopted by
the Ministry of Power and Energy. This will be in line with the Mahinda
Chintana - Vision for the Future, to develop Sri Lanka as a dynamic
global hub of energy.
President Mahinda Rajapaksa, will be the chief guest on the
invitation of Patali Champika Ranawaka, Minister of Power and Energy.
The expo will be inaugurated by D. M. Jayaratne, the Prime Minister.
Premalal Jayasekara, Deputy Minister of Power and Energy, M. M. C.
Ferdinando, Secretary to the Ministry of Power and Energy will
participate.
