Hayleys Consumer launches CTP machine

A Computer to Plate (CTP) system has been launched by Hayleys Consumer (HCPL).

CRON Asia Managing Director Kenny Lai and Director and COO of HCPL Jude Silva load the first plate to the CRON CTP machine. Senior Technician, HCPL, Jagath Perera, Manager HCPL, Malinda Tennakoon, Business Unit Head HCPL, S. Nimal, Sales Manager, Huqui Imaging, Jerry Zhang, and Sales Engineer HCPL Lasantha Anagipura look on.

Unveiled to industry representatives "Hayleys Consumer is the authorised distributor in Sri Lanka for the complete range of CRON CTP Systems," a spokesman for the company said.

"CRON has been granted more than 20 patents and other proprietary intellectual property rights, and is a world leader in pre-press equipment," said Business Unit Head of Hayleys Consumer, Selvaratnam Nimal.

"These CTP systems offer true on-line plate making with great quality, speed and flexibility. We are excited at the potential to market CRON CTP in Sri Lanka."

Hayleys Consumer, which also represents a wide range of ancillary products and consumables for the printing industry, would offer a total solution to customers, Nimal said. The company also supplies Huqui Plate processors, plates and chemicals from Fujifilm, Xitron workflow solutions, pre-press software and spectro plate densitometers from Techkon, along with after sales, maintenance and repair services.
