First privately-owned satellite in SAARC region to be launched:

Supreme Group pioneers Sri Lanka’s space industry

Sri Lanka will join the exclusive club of satellite owning countries on November 22 with the launch of the Supreme SAT-1. Being the latest member to the 45 countries that have their own satellites, it will be the third satellite owning country in the SAARC region.

Melsta Regal to widen footprint

Melsta Regal Finance will set up around 12 branches this year and expand its footprint to the North and the East, Melsta Regal Finance Ltd, Managing Director, Amitha Gooneratne said.
