Royal College principal scotches rumours

The principal of Royal College, Upali Gunasekara said that the rumours and allegations against Royal College by certain media institutions are baseless and there is no truth whatsoever in these allegations.

He made these comments following a recent radio program that highlighted Royal College.

"They are making false and baseless allegations and we wonder whether the 15 teachers who had been transferred from Royal College after they were found to be unfit were behind this campaign to tarnish the image of Royal College", he said.
