Kind-Siri begs for pardon
Kind-Siri, who evaded his disciplinary hearing of the Elephant party
by going abroad, is now begging for pardon from Ra-Blue through party
seniors. "If people such as Sajith who criticised the leadership could
make a comeback and fall in line with the leader, why can't I?"
Kind-Siri told a confidant.
Um-Maah's latest somersault
The Elephant Party last week accommodated another political
somersaulting character - Angie Um-Maah. She first went to the House of
Diyawanna from the Bell Party and then crossed over to En-EfEf with
Flowery Vee. "This shows the bankruptcy of the You-En-Pee," Anura Prince
said.
No one is above the law
The stunning disclosure of allegations on the justice that is chief
will come to light when the motion to impeach her is presented in the
House of Diyawanna. No person is above the law and anybody who abuses
power will have to face the consequences.
Big Lady concedes defeat
The Retired Big Lady has finally acknowledged defeat and had praised
the governing types at least once at a meeting in Attana-Galle.
Conceding that she had made several unsuccessful attempts to do away
with preferential voting at the LG polls, she commended the governing
types for bringing new legislation to amend the LG polls Act. She
eventually used the big mouth to acknowledge due credit. |
