Competition at low ebb

Almost all the bouts did not go the full distance of three rounds, with the referee constantly stopping the contest in the first or second round was the feature on the second day at the ABA conducted Men and Women Junior Boxing National Championship at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium yesterday.

Tomorrow, the last day of the contest and all the men’s and women’s finals are scheduled to be worked out from 3.00 pm onwards.
