The Water Supply and Drainage Board has launched a program to provide jobs to children of farmer employees of the Board to mark the 67th birthday of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. Seventy-two letters of appointment were presented to the new employees at a ceremony at the Ministry recently. Here a former employee’s son receives his letter of appointment from Water Supply Minister Dinesh Gunawardene. A blood donation campaign was conducted at the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development to celebrate President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s 67th birthday recently. Here the Minister Dullas Alahapperuma lights the oil lamp along with Ministry officials to inaugurate the ceremony.
