Monash degree from Malaysia through ANC

ANC Education now offers Sri Lankan youth the opportunity of obtaining a Monash University Degree at Monash University Sunway Campus in Malaysia. ANC is licensed in Sri Lanka to collaborate with Monash University.

Prof Gamini Herath

ANC Education offers two programs which include the Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) and the Diploma program.

Students who complete the stages can complete their degrees not only in Australia but also at Monash's Sunway Campus in Malaysia.

"Malaysia being close to Sri Lanka and culturally similar, is an ideal choice for Sri Lankan students whose parents are always concerned about their security," said Asian Economic Development Research Strength Leader at Monash, Malaysia, Prof Gamini Herath.

Through the MUFY program Sri Lankan students may apply for any diploma or undergraduate course at Monash University Sunway Campus in the fields of Art and Social Sciences, Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Medicine and Health Sciences and Science.

"It is important to highlight the flexibility offered through this program because a Sri Lankan student will be offered the choice of completing the degree in Sri Lanka and Malaysia or in all three countries including Australia with eligibility to do certain components in Australia", said Prof Herath.

"The Monash University Sunway Campus is a $ 60 m campus providing students with 24 specialised engineering laboratories, first class television and radio studios and a modern library. Students can also access the Monash University library in Australia, which has an online collection of more than 98,000 e-books, 27,000 e-serials and 752 electronic databases," a spokesman for ANC said. "In terms of accommodation, the Sunway Campus offers modern apartments within walking distance to the campus."

"While the current Sri Lankan student community is well over 200, hundreds more have passed out from Monash and serve renowned local and international employers in the country and abroad," he said.
