SLI General Insurance Summit

Sri Lanka Insurance (SLI) held it's first ever General Insurance Summit, a two-day residential conference for it's top achievers in General Insurance Sales at Chaya Tranz, Hikkaduwa, recently with over 250 participants and the senior management of Sri Lanka Insurance.

General Insurance Summit, the two-day residential program was held to reward excellence, educate, recognise and motivate sales force and staff members of General Insurance category.

The 2012 summit was structured on the theme 'Competencies, Ethics and Leadership'. Some key personalities in the country, participated in the Summit. Chairman Ports Authority, Dr. Priyath Bandu Wickrama spoke on how to be successful in the corporate world through an achievement-driven attitude and Rear Admiral Dr. Sarath Weerasekara spoke on how aesthetic values and patriotism could create a good leader.

The panel discussion was led by academics of the Wayamba University, Senior Lecturer Aminda Methsila, Lecturer W. Sampath Sanjeewa and Prof (Chair) of Department of Agribusiness Management, Prof Udith K. Jayasinghe Mudalige.

The senior management including Managing Director and CEO Mohan de Alwis, CO General Insurance Ainsley Alles and the senior management of Sri Lanka Insurance were present.
