'Planet Fashion and Raymond' launched in Kandy

Hameedias launched 'Planet Fashion and Raymond' at level 3 of the Kandy City Centre.

The 1,200 sq foot 'Planet Fashion and Raymond' Store was opened by the Mayor of Kandy, Mahen Ratwatte. Several VIPs were present.

"Level 3 at the KCC has been unofficially branded as the 'floor for fashion and accessories' and draws hundreds of customers at all times of the day", a spokesman for Hameedia's said.

Fouzul Hameed said, "The first Planet Fashion opened its doors at the Racecourse Promenade in October last year and has seen record sales ever since. Planet Fashion and Raymond bring the world's leading men's clothing brands under one roof and is now proud to open its doors at the Kandy City Centre, the happening place in the hill capital".

"Kandy is today a strategic shopping location and serves many key towns in the surrounding areas. For many years, Kandy's fashion conscious customers have been deprived of genuine branded and original clothing from reputed brands, nationally and internationally. Planet Fashion and Raymond seamlessly fill this void," Hameed said.
