'Kelani Knowledge Forum 2013'

Kelani Cables PLC recently held its annual 'Kelani Knowledge Forum' at the Waters Edge, to share and discuss the latest developments and techniques to be used in minimising domestic and industrial electrical accidents and hazards.

Leading electrical engineers and heads of corporate organisations were present. This is the second occasion that Kelani Cables PLC organised this forum.

“Research shows that fatalities due to electrical accidents is increasing in Sri Lanka and throughout the world and this was one reason for Kelani Cables PLC to continue this forum,” a spokesman for the company said.

Chief Executive Officer, Kelani Cables PLC, Mahinda Saranapala, who initiated the knowledge forum said, “We believe it is our responsibility to share the latest developments of this industry with the engineers and company heads related to our industry.”

“As a responsible corporate organisation of the country we are grateful to our customers, big and small. Our Corporate Social Responsibility projects are designed to reward all sections of society,” he said.

“The annual project is a part of our massive CSR campaign and we ensure to invite a distinguished personality to impart the latest and the best developments of the industry,” he said.
