Zee Lanka to launch Enerzee

Zee Lanka, a subsidiary of Sri Lankan-owned Zee Engineering which has been serving the offshore and gas industry since 1987, in Malaysia, and Ihandal Energy Solutions, a Malaysian company which deals in renewable energy and energy optimisation, will launch 'Enerzee' on March 20 at the Cinnamon Grand.

With the rising cost of crude oil, Sri Lanka's primary source of power generation, the cost of energy in the country has risen over the past few years thus making businesses cut back on energy costs through a sustainable mechanism.

"Enerzee, a new and ingenious technology, promises reduction in energy consumption by up to 20% while having no risk of capital installation costs. It provides maximum energy and savings in areas such as water heating and air-conditioning, the two largest energy consumers in buildings," a spokesman for the company said.

The launch will accompany a presentation on 'Energy Saving' by Director, Ihandal Energy Solutions, Aaron Patel. He will provide insights to organisational decision makers on how they could optimise their energy without a heavy outlay in capital investment.
