Janashakthi holds 'Motor Clinic' in Kandy

Janashakthi Insurance recently held a ‘Motor Clinic’ in Kandy, where vehicle owners received a free vehicle check up.

This is the second such 'clinic' conducted by the company.

At the ‘Motor Clinic’ customers identified problems of their vehicles, figure out solutions and receive advice on appropriate vehicle care. This is another customer care initiative by Janashakthi.

Head of Marketing, Janashakthi Insurance, Ravi Balraj said, “The ‘Motor Clinic’ introduced by Janashakthi which showcases the company’s commitment to provide not only the best quality insurance, but also a host of value added services as well.”

“Fundamental maintenance and regular check-ups can prevent many costly repairs and save vehicle owners a lot of money. As a responsible insurance provider, we at Janashakthi feel it is our duty to educate our customers and the public about the proper care of their vehicles,” he said.

It was supported by technicians and mechanics from the Sri Lanka Automobile Institute of Research and Training and Exide.

“In Kandy, the Janashakthi ‘Motor Clinic’ tested over 375 vehicles within two days.

The services provided at the event included testing of engine and transmission control systems and air- condition and climate control systems to ensure maximum functionality, and examination of all body and chassis electronics, tyres and suspension systems and battery check-ups for safety,” a spokesman for the company said.

Technicians also inspected the paint and body condition of each vehicle and instructed owners on comprehensive vehicle care and regular maintenance.

“I knew there were a few problems in my car which needed to be fixed, but I was unaware of the extent of the problems until I drove into the Janashakthi ‘Motor Clinic’,” said Chaminda Fernando of Peradeniya.

“All technicians and mechanics at the ‘Motor Clinic’ were helpful and spent time and effort to explain each problem to me,” he said.
