Sethsuwa Pranajeewa a traditional herbal medicine known to cure several non-communicable diseases and prevent other ailments, was re-launched with the ISO9001:2008 standard certification and a new packaging for safe exportation. Here Dr. Sujeewa Vitanage presents the first bottle of the new Sethsuwa Pranajeewa to Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa at a function held at the Ministry recently. Fisheries and Aquatic Resource Development Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne and the Deputy Disaster Management Minister Dulip Wijesekara were also present at the occasion.

Over one thousand Kiriammas were offered Kiridanaya organised by WPC Member Sisira Jayakody and the Siyapatha Friendship Organisation at the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vihara recently. The religious ceremony was conducted by the Ven. Prof. Kumburugamuwe Vajira Nayaka Thera, Chancellor, Sabaragamuwa University. Here the National Water Supply and Drainage Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, WPC Member Sisira Jayakody, Kelaniya PS Chairman Prasanna Ranaweera, Film Director and Media Secretary to WPC Member Nirmal Rajapaksa participate in the event.
