
Cricket candidates disqualified
All three nominations for the presidency of the country’s richest
sports governing body will be rejected on different grounds. The AGM
will be held on schedule to elect office-bearers for other posts. Fresh
nominations would be called for the top seat and a special general
meeting will be held next month to elect a new cricket chief.
BR enlightens Ra-Blue
Ra-Blue, in a desperate bit to resurrect the Elephant Party under his
tottering leadership has proposed that the Governing types sign an MoU
with him so that he could go to Geneva to speak on behalf of Sri Lanka.
