Kalutara Vidyalaya fancied to win ‘Battle of Mangosteens’

The 55th annual ‘Battle of Mangosteens’ between Tissa MMV and
Kalutara Vidyalaya will be played at the Kalutara Esplanade on March 22
and 23. Tissa MMV will have Isuru Buddhika as captain and the vice
captain will be Vinuth Sasinda.
This year Tissa MMV has played 10 inter-school cricket matches and
won five outright and in addition won three on the first innings. On the
other hand, Kalutar Vidyalaya has played eleven matches and are riding
high, winning all eleven matches. There are some outstanding cricketers
in the two teams and it all points to be an interesting encounter.
