Abans to build super mall
The Abans Group in collaboration with Silver Needle Hospitality,
signed an agreement with the architectural firm, AEDAS, to lead the
design for the proposed US$ 100 million five star super mall opposite
the Beira Lake in Colombo.The construction will commence early next year
and will be completed by 2017.
Abans Super Mall will be named, Colombo City Centre.It will feature a
spacious, stylish and modern shopping centre which will be subdivided
into various sections.There will also be a food court that will serve a
variety of Sri Lankan and international cuisine, fast food, snacks, ice
cream and beverages.
hSenid empowers IPM
hSenid Business Solutions signed an MoU with the Institute of
Personnel Management Sri Lanka (IPM) as the 'Technology Partner' for the
National HR Conference - 2013.
The conference will be held at the Waters Edge on June 18 and 19 on
the theme 'In search of HR excellence'.The conference will feature many
eminent and world renowned speakers.
CEO and founder of hSenid, Dinesh Saparamadu said, "hsenid is happy

SLIM signs MoU with AMW
The Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) recently signed a
Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Associated Motorways Private Ltd
(AMW) to deliver a customised certificate in sales and marketing module
to AMW sales and marketing staff.
The MoU was signed by Vice President, SLIM, Dhanesh R Jayathilaka and
AMW Group Director Human Resources, Kushan Wijewickrama at the
Associated Motorways head office on April 5, 2013.AMW Managing Director
Samantha Rajapaksa was present.
People’s Leasing finances Ashok Leyland DOST vehicles
People’s Leasing PLC will extend lease finance facilities to
customers purchasing Lanka Ashok Leyland’s latest import, the DOST 2.5T
light commercial vehicle, which features air conditioning, power
steering and passenger car-like comfort. The Ashok Leyland Dost light
commercial vehicle is one of many products manufactured under a
collaborative agreement between Ashok Leyland, India and Nissan Motor
Company, Japan. |
