Chinese restaurant opens at Shanghai Hotel

 Chinese Lotus Restaurant was opened recently at Shanghai Hotel in
Lakshapathiya, Moratuwa.Approved by the Sri Lanka Tourist Board as an
'A' grade restaurant, it offers an array of Szechuan and Cantonese
dishes and a range of local Chinese cuisine.The restaurant has elegant
interiors in shades of rich mahogany.
"We are particular about quality and service," said manager of the
hotel, Jayantha Paranathala, a former cricketer and cricket
administrator.
"The kitchen is well equipped and kept clean at all times," said chef
Saman.
"This enables the kitchen staff to give of their best," he said.
