Entrust, AAM hold Fund Management forum
Entrust Limited along with Advanced Asset Management (AAM) Limited
(wholly owned subsidiary of Westpac Banking Corporation of Australia)
organised a Fund Management Forum in Sri Lanka to educate and impart the
knowledge of professionals of Advanced Asset Management in developing
the Sri Lankan Fund Management industry.
This forum on 'Asset allocation and risk management in a complex,
volatile and challenging world' was held recently at The Kingsbury Hotel
in Colombo.
A company official said, "This exclusive forum provided participants
the opportunity to gain an in-depth insight to investment philosophies,
risk management techniques, investment strategies and various
disciplines related to fund management."
"Entrust Limited consider the opportunity of teaming up with AAM to
host this forum, a great opening for the two organisations to jointly
assist the development of the local fund management industry and to
create a platform for knowledge sharing as well," a spokesman for the
company said.
Head of Strategy and Research, Felix Stephen and Head of Business
Management and Institutional Sales of Advanced Asset Management, Peter
Folks were the two main speakers at this forum and shared their wealth
of know-how and extensive experience in asset management in asset
management across diversified portfolios.
