Intel's Asia Pacific summit concludes
Over 325 of Asia Pacific channel partners gathered at the annual Asia
Pacific Intel Solutions Summit, held this year in Macau. The Summit,
held over three days, provided Intel's partner community with the latest
business insights to create effective solutions for businesses and
consumers across the region.

"The Intel Technology Partner (ITP) program saw considerable growth
across the Asia Pacific region during the past year as Gold and Platinum
membership reached 9,279, one of the highest globally," a spokesman for
the organisers said.
"Having the largest partner ecosystem in the global Intel partner
program is important to us, we have focused on fostering partner
relationships and providing real value for our partners in the region,"
said Country Business Manager, Intel EM Limited, Sri Lanka Liaison
office, Indika de Zoysa.
"It's exciting that these efforts have paid off and our partner
ecosystem continues to grow."
Director of Intel's Reseller Channel Organisation in Asia Pacific,
Kamil Hasan said, "As Intel brings more products into the market in
2013, we want the channel to be in the best position to participate and
compete in the compute continuum, whether it be desktop and server
products based on Intel's newest 4th Generation Core processors, or the
latest Ultrabooks and tablets."
"With a range of new programs that Intel will offer this year, we are
committed to providing the right support to the channel to reach
customers," he said.
