Scan Engineering wins gold award

Daikin Air-conditioning (Singapore) Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of Daikin
Industries Ltd. of Japan held its annual 'Dealers Awards and Recognition
Night 2013' in Singapore recently.
Scan Engineering was awarded the Gold Award for 'Outstanding Sales
Achievement'. It was also presented the 'Recognition of Achievement'
award in the sales category of variable refrigerant volume (VRV)
equipment. Scan Engineering won this award in the previous year too.
"Scan Engineering was set up in 1995. It has strived to become a
leading and innovative mechanical and electrical engineering firm in Sri
Lanka for private and public sector projects through solutions for
air-conditioning, elevators, escalators and power generation in one
package", a spokesman for the company said.
"Our expertise is due to a philosophy based on accurate, timely and
efficient processes from site inspection, designing, supply,
installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance," he said. The
event marked the tenth anniversary of such awards by Daikin Singapore.

Daikin is a Japanese multinational company founded in 1924 and is a
manufacturer of heating, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment
(HVAC) apart from other related products.
The HVAC product range extends from residential split
air-conditioning equipment to variable refrigerant volume systems (VRV)
and commercial or industrial cooling water chiller systems. Daikin VRV
is an energy efficient air-conditioning system suitable for any type of
building.
