International ICT conference in Sri Lanka

The Computer Society of Sri Lanka (CSSL - www.cssl.lk) is organising an international Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Conference in Colombo from August 12-14.

The CSSL annually organises the National Information Technology Conference (NITC), which is one of the top ICT events in Sri Lanka. This year, CSSL and SEARCC will organise SEARCC International Conference 2013 on the theme ICT: Innovation, Integration for Impact' to bring attention to recent developments in the ICT field, to facilitate the dispersal of knowledge among the ICT fraternity including entrepreneurs, academia, visionary ICT leaders and industry professionals and to discuss the use of ICT for holistic development.

The inauguration will take place on August12 , with Senior Minister for International Monetary Co-operation and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Sarath Amunugama, as the chief guest and Minister of Technology, Research and Atomic Energy, Patali Champika Ranawaka as guest of honour.
