Computers for winners

The 'Lifebuoy Computer Wasana', the promotional campaign concluded recently.

Twenty winners under this promotional campaign were presented personal computers at the Unilever Sri Lanka head office in Colombo.

"To take part, consumers had to send two empty Lifebuoy sachets to Unilever Sri Lanka, with their name and address. The 25,000 entries received during the promo period (from April to May) showed the interest by consumers to be part of the promotion," a spokesman for the company said.

The 20 winners were selected in a draw conducted under the supervision of Public Administration Ministry officials.

Lifebuoy Shampoo, Brand Manager, Milinda Weerasinghe said, "This promotional campaign can be seen as a tribute to consumers who have been loyal to the brand through the years."

Unilever Sri Lanka has made Lifebuoy shampoo products available in three variants (herbal, health and anti-dandruff) to suit varying consumer needs.

"Our aim is to further develop the brand for the benefit of our consumers," said Uniliver Sri Lanka's Category Head (Hair Care), Wathsala Aluthgedara.
