Japanese Minister in Sri Lanka
Japan's Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications Yoshitaka
Shindo will arrive in Sri Lanka today, the Embassy of Japan in Colombo
announced last week.
His visit is a follow-up to the visit of President Mahinda Rajapaksa
to Tokyo in March and the visit of Japan's Deputy Prime Minister and
Parliamentary Senior Vice Minister of Finance Taro Aso in May. Shindo,
during his visit, will call on President Rajapaksa to discuss bilateral
relations to further strengthen the long-standing ties between the two
countries.
