Lankem paints Dalada Maligawa for Esala perahera
Lankem Paints Ltd painted the Dalada Maligawa complex in Kandy for
this year's Esala perahera.

Now in its ninth consecutive year, this annual Varna Pooja by Lankem
Paints is one of the numerous rituals associated with the Temple of the
Tooth prior to the perahera.
Director, Lankem Ceylon PLC, Ruwan T. Weerasinghe said, "We consider
it a unique honour and privilege to paint the Dalada Maligawa for the
Kandy Esala perahera."
"Apart from being a great meritorious act, we are also happy to
contribute to Sri Lanka's rich culture and heritage through initiatives
such as this. Lankem Robbialac is a fully home-grown Sri Lankan
company," he said.
Diyawadana Nilame Pradeep Nilanga Dela thanked Lankem Paints for its
continued support in painting the Dalada Maligawa for the ninth
consecutive year, ahead of the Esala perahera. |
