Mobitel introduces family broadband package

Sri Lanka Telecom Mobitel has introduced a broadband package which covers the internet needs of the entire family.

"The Mega Internet package allows a family, living under one roof to take advantage of the entire gamut of Mobitel broadband services, while fulfilling their individual needs. The parents can access the latest news, newest blockbuster releases while the children can indulge in self-learning, accessing music, movies and sports as and when they want," a company spokesman said.

"Staying true to its credo, 'We Care. Always' - Mobitel is committed to take the most advanced mobile communication services to every Sri Lankan. This solution allows the entire family to access and enjoy broadband services through the use of sub-lines and multiple devices under one post-paid package," he said.

An optional feature is the child content filtering facility. It permits parents to control inappropriate content being accessed and viewed by minors.
