Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), Chairman Wasantha de
Silva commended the Government for its efforts to channel the benefits
of hosting CHOGM 2013 to the business sector of the country. "The
Government task force has made a magnificent effort to make the setting
for this summit meeting of Commonwealth leaders convenient and
impressive."
"We are confident that the gathering of Heads of Government in
Colombo will put us on course to deliver yet more innovative and
sustainable solutions to the contemporary challenges faced by the
business community and these Commonwealth solutions are templates for
global action," he said
"The theme, 'Building National Resilience, Building Global
Resilience' encapsulates the important role of our member countries in
collectively advancing national and international development and
cooperation by building on the Commonwealth's vast economic potential,"
de Silva said.
"The international community will witness the potential of Sri Lanka
as an investment destination. Showcasing the business potential
available in our country is a sound investment in the long term. Word of
mouth advertising, particularly among people with contacts and networks
will be valuable to all sectors of the business community," he said. The
Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE) launched its journey to
regenerate the corporate sector in 1999, by presenting itself as the
milieu that bridges the gap between fundamental business segments in Sri
Lanka. |
