UN Human Rights chief to arrive this weekend
 UN Human Rights Commissioner, Navanetham Pillai is scheduled to
arrive in the country on a three-day official visit over the weekend,
authoritative sources said yesterday.
She will be flown to Jaffna and Kilinochchi among other places and
the government will facilitate her to interact with officials, the
public and opposition politicians.
The Government invited her to undertake a visit to the country in a
bid to cultivate cordial relations with the UN’s Human Rights arm and
dispel anti Sri Lanka propaganda.
