Dear children, we are carrying some information about the Galle Face Green which is in the heart of the city of Colombo. Galle Face Green is a breath of fresh air in the ashpalt jungle surrounding the city. The air is invigorating. Open areas are hard to come by in the city because of the many buildings that have come up in the recent past. Playgrounds and parks are also hard to come by and children have really very little space to run and play about. They throng the Galle Face Green especially during the weekends just to take a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. If you do visit Galle Face Green enjoy the fresh saline sea breeze.
